vintage DKNY sweater, 3.1 Phillip Lim Skirt (used goods), save espadrilles, Loeffler Randall Bag (used sample)
Spring is almost here, and as always, I’m calculating my outfits to stay cool and warm?? There’s a basic cardigan with lots of knit texture and worn backwards. If you want to call it “woooooo”, that’s what you’ll call it.
The story in this wallet
I started this thing of trying to bring something new into my life only when I felt physically, almost inevitably, and unconsciously drawn to it. This wallet was one of those purchases. Next thing I know, I’m proudly sharing my new wallet friend on my IG Stories at the Formica restaurant counter. And it happened. There’s something I’ve always wondered about life after consignment of used goods.
The previous owner recognized the bag!
I laid eyes on this little bag last September and it captivated me.
It has everything I want. You run the risk of losing small items, mixed materials, and handcrafted items that stand out on behalf of the person who made them. There is no lining, but there is a slight tear showing that the fabric lining was cut off at some point. Plus! It’s a neutral color. There are no tags and I don’t know who created it. Oh well. sold.
Greetings to the next person Emily The person who messaged me and said the wallet was unique was Loeffler Randall. I bought it at a sample sale, but it never made it to production, so it’s a unique number I’m proud to carry on the legacy.
This is why used goods are good, everyone. If you’re feeling inspired to add more to your life, try a treasure hunt.
