Amazing effect on dust! Consider placing it next to your computer to help reduce the dust the fan picks up. The floors are all hard and we have three dogs who bring a lot of dust from outside. The dust accumulated on my computer desk has been noticeably reduced!
I’ve been using this filter for almost a year and have been running it (on low settings) for almost that long. It sits on my kitchen counter, and I generally leave it running all the time to clean the air. Sometimes, when I cook food that produces a lot of smoke, I increase the temperature. It’s really effective at removing smoke from the air fairly quickly. I don’t change the filter very often, but it still works well.
On quiet, low settings, it’s mostly unnoticeable. It makes a bit of noise at the high end, similar to a small fan spinning at the low end, but it’s still pretty quiet.
