Minor Hotels, an international hotel group with properties in 56 countries, is managing hotels in Johannesburg, South Africa in partnership with Cavaleros Group. This marks the African debut of Minor Hotels’ NH Collection brand.
Minor will take over management of the 329 Key Hotel in the Sandton financial district from July 1. It will initially operate as NH Sandton, but will be rebranded to NH Collection Sandton once renovations are complete.
Cavaleros Group, a leading South African real estate group, has owned and operated the hotel for 30 years.
Minor Hotels plans to use this partnership as a springboard for further expansion into Africa, particularly South Africa.
