A researcher at Australian University found a new “alternative” stick insect species in the Remote Rain Forest in Queensland, Australia.
Professor Angus Emmott confirmed the new Acrophylla Alta species in canopy in the Mountainous Wet Tropics region in northeastern parts.
The insect is about 40cm long. James Cook University said that the sample weighs 44g and is “slightly smaller than the golf ball.”
