
Passenger traffic at Puerto Rico’s main air hub fell slightly last month.

The figures indicate: Passenger traffic decreased by 2.1% compared to the previous year.
February’s decline follows a similar pattern in the year-to-date figures.
In the first two months of this year, total passenger numbers reached 2,236,855.comparison 2,285,084 people in the same period last yearalso 2.1% decrease.
Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport is Puerto Rico’s busiest airport and one of the Caribbean’s largest aviation hubs, serving as a major gateway for both international visitors and inter-island travel.
The airport continues to be served by a variety of airlines connecting San Juan with cities in the continental United States, Latin America and the broader Caribbean region.
Despite the slight decline in February, San Juan remains the center of the region’s air network, with continued efforts focused on expanding routes and maintaining the island’s connectivity to key tourism markets.
