What happened to the ‘cancel culture’ promoted by MAGA right-wingers? The same thing happened to cautious Republicans horrified by the Monica Lewinsky scandal and QAnon folks who warned of a Washington-based child sex ring and now support the pedophiles who run the government. And the same people on the far right who hated the federal government so much that they refused to investigate the 1995 bombing of a federal building in downtown Oklahoma City (yes, I’m talking about Newt) and now support concentrating power in the hands of the executive branch. And what about the Republican Party, which in the name of fiscal conservatism supported a ‘starve the beast’ strategy to reduce government spending, and now supports a president who is increasing the federal debt and boasting a $1 trillion military budget? The point here is to do and say anything to make the rich richer.
