This year we’re taking a different approach to our gift guide. Instead of the usual suspects you see everywhere, I wanted to dig deep and source the ones I thought were unique, exceptional, or simply special. Along the way, I discovered so many beautiful pieces that I wanted to keep for myself, so there’s a little “one for you, one for me” sprinkled throughout. This always seems to happen with holiday shopping.

Victoria Beckham’s 21:50 Reverie is more widely available, but its incredibly sophisticated earthy scent is worth mentioning. It’s adorable!
If you have an adult son or daughter preparing your home/apartment (or need a towel upgrade), forget about the predictable and surprise them with a set of striped towels from Tekla. They are stylish, cool and classy. It’s something they can respect, but they don’t necessarily need to splurge for themselves.
