Video confirmed by the BBC appears to show the moment an F-15 fighter jet falls from the sky and crashes to the ground near Kuwait City.
The video was filmed on the edge of Al Jahra district, west of the city.
U.S. Central Command later said three U.S. F-15 fighter jets were shot down in an “apparent friendly fire incident.”
All six crew members “escaped safely” and were in stable condition, he added.
