Aalborg Airport in Denmark

Aalborg Airport in Denmark

According to local authorities, Aalborg airport in Denmark, in the north, was closed after seeing a drone in airspace.

The three other small airports in the southern regions of ESBJERG, Sønderborg and Skrydstrup (ESBJERG, Sønderborg, and Skrydstrup) also reported drone activities, but were not closed.

The incident occurred this week after Copenhagen Airport was closed by the invasion of drones earlier this week, and the prime minister described it as “the most serious attack on the Danish infrastructure.”

The police added that the device can be seen on the ground, and the activity cannot be a joke. They were investigating who was controlling them and their motives.

On Monday, Kastrup airport in Copenhagen was closed for several hours after witnessing a number of drones.

Prime Minister MetTE Frederiksen told reporters earlier this week, “This tells us about what we should deal with as the time and society we live in.

She added that she could not rule out Russia’s participation. Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Kremlin, called the charges “no basis.”

Then on Wednesday night, at least three flights were switched from Alborg Airport, and the airport said that the airport was used as a military base, so the Danish army was affected.

North Jutland Police issued a statement that it is closely monitoring Aalborg’s situation, but it cannot be explained in detail how many drones were involved.

“We can’t mention the purpose of the drone flying in the area, and we can’t say anything about who the actors are,” said Jesper Bøjgaard Madsen.

“If we get a chance, we will destroy the drone,” he added.

The police did not believe that there was a risk to the airport or the residents’ passengers, but asked the public to maintain the distance in the area.

The SOUTH JUTLAND police also received several reports on drone activities at the airport of ESBJERG, Sønderborg and Skrydstrup. The drone also saw flying over the northern ESBJERG.

The police dealt with drone reports from ESBJERG, Sønderborg and Skrydstrup, saying, “I’m seriously accepting the situation.”

They added that the airport did not close and there was no danger to the public.

Two of the three flights influenced by Aalborg returned to Copenhagen, and the other returned to Karub Village.

The agency, which supervises the European airline traffic control, said the arrival and departure of the airport will be suspended to 06:00 local time (04:00 GMT).

In Europe, many NATO member states have reportedly warned after reporting Russia’s invasion in the airspace.

Last week, Estonia and Poland called for consultation with other NATO members after Russia was accused of violating the air for a separate incident.

Another NATO member, Romania, said Russian drone violated the airspace.

Russia denied violating Estonia’s airspace, but claimed that Polish infringement was not intentional. I did not mention the Romanian case.

After the Tuesday meeting, NATO issued a statement that condemned Russian actions and warned that it would defend itself by using “all military and non -military tools”.

“Russia is responsible for this action, and this action is dangerous to escalation, danger misunderstandings and risks,” he said.

“We are a defensive alliance, but we are not naive, so we can see what’s happening.”

After a speech with the United Nations, Donald Trump suggested that NATO countries should defeat Russian flights that violate airspace.
