BWINDI’s 10 -room A & K Sanctuary Real Estate is a few minutes from the Uganda Wild Biology Center. Guests can use the gorilla trekking in the forest, which is half of the mountain gorilla population.
This lodge is designed by the details created by BWINDI Artisans. The roof is finished with the second -level papyrus lead and is installed in a way that allows the lodge to merge with the forest canopy. Banana fiber cladding was handwritten by NGO RIDE 4 A WOMAN organization.
Some elements of the original camp, such as the reception statement carved decades ago by BWINDI CRAFTSPEOPLE, have been preserved.
Lodge has an open layout with a large window and a high ceiling that provides forest views. More than 120,000 recycling beads are tied by hand to make customized lighting equipment. The interior color is earth tone.

“In BWINDI, the design meant cooperation with the forest, which means creating a space that melted the boundaries between the lodges and the landscape to get inspiration from rhythm and texture.
