Responding to demand from travel advisors, Avanti Destinations will launch its first packages in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji from September.
Avanti, a wholesaler that offers tailored independent vacation packages exclusively through travel agents, will offer a total of eight vacation packages.
Avanti offers eight customizable trips for FIT clients, three in Australia, three in New Zealand and two in Fiji. With a variety of destinations, activities/experiences and hotels to choose from, advisors can tailor each client’s itinerary to their preferences.
Avanti CEO Paul Barry said the range of components travel agents can use to build their holiday packages was “astonishing”, with 222 hotels and 280 activities/experiences.
“Our travel advisory partners have been asking us for quite some time to offer trips to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, as these regions are very high on most people’s travel bucket lists,” says Barry, adding that the three countries “are ideal for independent American travelers because English is the primary language.”
An e-brochure will be available on Avanti’s travel advisory portal on September 12, and a webinar for the region is scheduled for August 31. Additional webinars for individual countries are scheduled for October, November and December.
Barry said the launch coincides with air travel capacity returning to pre-pandemic levels to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
Avanti's vacation package duration ranges from 4 to 16 days.
