One person died and at least two police officers were seriously injured by the sword attack of the eastern French city Mulhouse.
A 37 -year -old Algerian man was arrested on -site and the prosecution began to investigate the terrorist.
The man seriously injured the two police officers, one on his neck and one in his chest. The civilian who tried to intervene was stabbed and died.
According to the district inspection, the suspect was ordered to be deported because it was on the list of terrorist clocks. President Emmanuel Macron said, “It was an Islamic terror attack.”
After mourning to the victim’s family, Macron said, “I want to repeat the decision of the government and the mine to continue our efforts to eradicate our soil terrorism.”
The incident took place in a protest that supported the Congo in patrolling the police officers.
Michele Lutz, a Mulhouse market, said on Facebook that “fear has seized our city.”
Bruno Retayaro, Minister of Home Affairs is expected to visit the site on Saturday evening.
