AI notification summary has been revised on iOS 18.3.

iOS 18.3 has been released to change the iPhone’s AI notification summary. In the release notes of iOS 18.3, Apple has temporarily disabled the notification summary of news and entertainment apps.

In the case of the Apple device (iPhone 15 Pro, Apple Silicon M1 chip or higher, and the latest version of iPad Mini) that supports Apple Intelligence, Apple Intelligence is also turned on by default.

Other features that come with the new iPhone update include Visual Intelligence to add events to the calendar app on posters or flyers, and to “easily identify plants and animals.” The MacOS 15.3 update, which is currently available on the MAC, has added support for GENMOJI as well as similar changes to the notification summary.

In addition, iOS 18.3 also displays the notification summary to distinguish it from the standard notification. There is also a new setting that can manage the notification summary on the lock screen.
