
Formula 1 great Alain Prost suffered head injuries after his home was attacked by masked gangsters, Swiss media reported.

Police confirmed a family was targeted in a robbery around 8.30am on Tuesday, but have not released the identity of the victim.
“Several people wearing masks entered the house. Once inside, they threatened the occupants and inflicted a minor injury to the head of a family member,” Vaud cantonal police said in a statement.
He added, “The perpetrators forced another family member to open the safe before running away.”
They said the value of the stolen items is still being assessed.
A ‘large-scale search operation’ involving Swiss and French police and border guards was launched, and the family was provided with a psychological support team, police added.
Prost, 71, drove for McLaren, Renault, Ferrari and Williams during his 13-year F1 career, winning world titles in 1985, 1986, 1989 and 1993.
The only drivers with more wins than Prost are Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton with seven titles each and Juan Manuel Fangio with five titles.
