Thousands of Albanians have been protesting for more than three weeks against plans to develop a luxury hotel on the Adriatic coast, funded in part by President Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

Prime Minister Lee must leave. And it’s not about flamingos anymore. It’s about health care. It’s about education. The story is that people are becoming poorer every day. It’s about people leaving their country because they don’t want to live here. It started as a protest against Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump’s investments in Sazan and Narta Lagoon. It started because of that, but it was just the tip of the iceberg. Now we are protesting for our rights and for a new Albania. This is about private property. It’s not about public lands. And the Albanian government is selling the country to donate.
