Aston Villa have announced the signing of Alejandro Garnacho from Chelsea on a season-long loan.
Sky Sports News The deal includes a conditional purchase obligation, which is considered easily achievable.
The overall package, including the loan fee, is understood to be in line with Chelsea’s valuation. Sky Sports News Chelsea wanted a reported £42.6m for the winger.
Garnacho joined Chelsea from Manchester United for £40m last summer and has been out on loan for less than 12 months.
The Argentina international winger did not attend pre-season training at Chelsea ahead of his move.
The deal came after the two clubs negotiated a British record £117m transfer fee for Morgan Rodgers to go in a different direction.
