The Food Standards Agency of Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) has announced more than 90 food recalls in 2025, according to a recent report.
FSANZ coordinated 92 recalls in 2025, compared to 95 warnings in 2024. Undeclared allergens were responsible for 35 recalls. Microbial contamination resulted in 23 recalls, 22 of which were due to foreign substances.
