Australian women’s cricket great Alyssa Healy ended her one-day international career with a sublime knock of 158 as Australia comfortably beat India in Hobart on Sunday.
Healy, 35, is set to retire from all forms of cricket after the one-off Test match against India in Perth from Friday.
She hit 27 boundaries and two sixes off 98 balls for her eighth ODI century, the second most in the history of Australian women’s cricket.
Australia finished their 50 overs at 409-7 and India were all eliminated for 224 as Australia completed a 3-0 sweep in the ODI series.
Healy became the sixth woman to score 150-plus runs twice in ODIs.
In 2019, she set the record for the highest T20I innings with a superb unbeaten 148 off 61 balls against Sri Lanka.
She has one chance left to score a Test hundred.
Her highest score in Test cricket is 99, which coincidentally is the highest Test score made by her husband Mitchell Starc, the Australian men’s fast bowling great who took 31 wickets against England in the 2025/26 Ashes series.
