Andy Jassy CEO said that Amazon’s upgraded Digital Assistant, which supplies power by AI, a generated AI in Thursday, has been released to more than 100,000 users.
It’s far from the 600 million Alexa device, but the company is launching the launch of Alexa+, which was first released in February. At the time, Amazon said Alexa+would be released on the waves for the next few months.
Amazon’s new digital assistant has the ability to allow users to talk to them in a more natural style and eventually use third -party apps on behalf of users. Alexa+should be able to generate the original response rather than a predetermined response of the Old Alexa and Siri systems, like the voice mode of the CHATGPT and Google’s Gemini.
However, according to the Washington Post report, Alexa+, which is released today, lacks some of the main features demonstrated by the company in February. According to the report, Alexa+pointed out that there is no ability to use third -party apps such as Grubhub, create sleeping time for children, or brainstorming gift ideas. It is not clear when this feature will make Alexa+.
Jassy said, “We have much more features to add in the next few months.
At his opening ceremony, Jassy insisted that Alexa+was one of the first behavior -oriented AI agents for consumers. But he said that this technology is still “primitive” and “inaccurate.” Currently, most multi -step AI agents have accuracy between 30% and 60%, Amazon said. JASSY has set the goal of the company’s web browsing agent presupposing Alexa+and Nova Act to achieve 90%accuracy in this domain.
Amazon’s Alexa+ rollout seems to be faster than the launch of Apple’s new LLM -based SIRI. Tim Cook, CEO of Amazon, said, “It takes more time to complete the work.”

Apple and Amazon says that Apple and Amazon have been caught along the way to Superrange Legacy Digital Assistant through Generative AI. Some of the largest hiccups are in LLM to use tools and integrate with other systems. That way, Alexa and SIRI can complete practical tasks such as reading timer settings and text, but implementing this proved to be more difficult than expected.
