Manchester United have signed Andrey Santos from Chelsea for £50m.
The deal consists of a guaranteed payout of £48m and an option for a further £2m. Chelsea will also maintain a 10% sell-on clause.
The Brazil international faces stiff competition for regular playing time in 2026/27 due to Chelsea’s absence from European competition.
His long-term bid to become a first-team starter at the club was further hampered earlier this year when Moises Caicedo extended his contract until 2033.
The 22-year-old joined Chelsea from Vasco da Gama in 2023 and has spent time on loan at Nottingham Forest and Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg.
Santos scored three goals and provided four assists in 43 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea last season.
