Andy Burnham says he will run to become Britain’s next prime minister.
Andy Burnham, who rejoined the British Parliament after winning a by-election, said he would take over as prime minister and leader of the Labor Party after Keir Starmer announced his resignation from the position.

“Mr Burnham, you’re live on BBC News. What do you think about the Prime Minister’s resignation?” “I have issued a statement clearly praising the Prime Minister for his dedication and service, and I confirm that I will be putting myself forward in the process that is about to take place.” “I will do everything I can to ensure an orderly transfer of power. I will also offer my full and unequivocal support to my successor, knowing that he will inherit a much stronger and fairer Britain than the one he inherited two years ago.” “I have no idea whether it will be a primary or a coronation. But what I do know is that the British public is too willing to cut and change party leaders at will.”
