Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt divorce settlement

Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reached a divorce agreement after eight years, her lawyer told the media.

The Associated Press reported that Pitt’s attorney had no immediate comment when approached for comment.

The two got married in 2014 and have six children.

Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

The pair were embroiled in a bitter child custody battle in the months following the announcement.

In 2021, a judge granted both parents joint custody of their children.

The couple, known as “Brangelina” by fans, met on the set of the 2005 film Mr and Mrs Smith.

This is Pitt’s second marriage; he was previously married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston. This is Jolie’s third marriage, following actors Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.

Jolie has appeared in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Changeling, Girl, and Interrupted, while Pitt’s credits include Fight Club and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Twelve Monkeys, etc.
