Apple may take a new approach with its next product announcement.

Apple has invited the tech press to a “special Apple experience” on March 4, but it may play out a little differently than the company’s standard press events.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple is planning “three days of announcements” instead of announcing everything in a single keynote. It was supposedly announced online and will culminate in a three-event “experience” on March 4 in New York, London and Shanghai, where the press will get a chance to get hands-on with the upcoming product.

Likewise, Daring Fireball’s John Gruber speculated that the experience could be “something you can try for yourself with a hands-on demo.”

It is reported that Apple will announce at least five new products during this period, including a low-cost MacBook. Other reported possibilities: iPhone 17e, iPad Air with M4 chip, new entry-level iPad, upgraded MacBook Air and new MacBook Pro models. Gurman said these products are all scheduled to launch this spring, but it’s unclear which ones will be announced and when.
