According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is struggling to rebuild Siri in the AI era.
This does not mean that there will be no big Siri update. The new version of SIRI is expected to debut in May. Finally, we integrated all the Apple Intelligence features that the company announced almost a year ago.
Gurman describes this version of Siri as having a “brain”. One describes old commands, such as setting up a timer and talking, and the other about high -end queries that can utilize user data. Internally, the two brains, known as “LLM SIRI”, will be announced at the World Wide Developer Conference in June before the start of the spring of 2026.
And Gurman says Apple will be able to fully pursue the development of Siri’s advanced features, Gurman says.
