
Meta unveiled the next generation’s project Aria AUGMENTED REALITY glasses for research: ARIA GEN 2.
Aria Gen 2, which arrives about five years after the first generation ARIA device, adds new features to the platform, including upgraded sensor suits and Custom Silicon of Meta. Aria Gen 2 has a PPG sensor for measuring heart rate and a contact microphone for distinguishing the voice of the wearer from the bystander’s voice.
According to the Meta, 75 gram Aria Gen 2, which can perform AI tasks such as eye tracking, hand tracking, and voice recognition, says that it packages an open “forced” carbonate “speaker and a battery lasting up to 8 hours when charging.
META plans to allow glasses to be used in academic and commercial research laboratory in the next few months. META said that in the blog post, Aria Gen 2 is being controlled to create a solution for people with low vision.
