Thatcher Brown was named CEO of Crescent Seas. Most recently, Brown, the chief vice president of global product, will be dominated by a new residential cruise company on August 1.

Brown has worked in advanced hospitality and cruises for more than 25 years, including Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, Four Seasons Yachts, MSC Cruises, Dream Cruises and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.
Russell Galbut started Crescent Seas in March. The first vessel, the navigator residence of the sea, is expected to start voyage in December 2026, the company said.

Brown said, “I look forward to financing what it means to live and travel in the sea while starting a strong launch and cultivating the community.”
