The prime minister told reporters he had asked what happened to the musician who was performing when the fire broke out.
“He said the disconnect switch caught fire and then things happened very quickly. There was an explosion and everyone was trying to run away from the smoke and flames.
“Many of them were unable to escape because they were trying to hide from the smoke and flames in the bathroom by going to the back of the building, and that is where we found most of the bodies.”
