I believe that as a country we should focus on respecting the rights of all people and treating everyone, including our citizens, with love and respect. And I hope that when people see the athletes competing in the Olympics, they realize that’s the America we’re trying to represent. If it matches my moral values, I feel like I represent them. Just because I wear a flag doesn’t mean I represent everything that’s happening in America. So I just want to do it for my friends and family and the people who support me.
