
England’s hopes of a historic series win in Australia ended with a 69-56 defeat to the hosts in the third Test.
Jess Thirlby’s side won 61-59 against the world champions in Sydney on Sunday to reach the series final, their first domestic match against the Diamonds since the 2018 Commonwealth Games final.
But after going up 30-24 at halftime, Australia fought back to win the series by 13 points against the Roses.
England now head to New Zealand for another three-match series starting in Auckland on Sunday. All three Test matches will be broadcast live. Sky Sports.
