Avianca is adding daily flights between Miami and Colombia’s Caribbean coast this summer.

Avianca is expanding its services to Colombia’s Caribbean coast with new flights every day. Miami and BarranquillaAdds non-stop capacity to one of America’s fastest growing coastal destinations.

The airline has started selling expanded routes, expanding from three times a week to daily flights. June 1, 2026.

The new itinerary includes the following daily round-trip flights: Miami International Airport and barranquillaIt is a Caribbean coastal city known for its beaches, music scene, and fast-growing tourism sector.

The expansion is part of Avianca’s broader efforts to increase the number of flights between Latin America and the United States as demand continues to grow across the region.

For travelers, the move provides much more flexibility for travel to Colombia’s Caribbean coast, especially for passengers transiting in South Florida.

Barranquilla is increasingly emerging as a gateway to the Colombian Caribbean region, with growing interest in the city’s cuisine, cultural tourism and nearby beach destinations along the northern coast.

The city is also internationally known. Barranquilla CarnivalIt is one of the largest cultural festivals in the Caribbean Basin.

The increase in services comes as Colombia continues to see strong tourism growth, particularly along the Caribbean coast, where destinations such as Cartagena, Santa Marta and Barranquilla are becoming increasingly popular with international travellers.

Avianca has steadily expanded its network across the Americas over the past year, adding increased frequencies and new routes to strengthen connectivity between the United States, Colombia and other Latin American markets.

The daily Barranquilla service also adds another non-stop option for travelers heading to Colombia from Miami, one of the busiest gateways for Caribbean and Latin American travel.
