I like bacon. I love Brussels sprouts. Put them together and I was sold. But the secret to these bacon-wrapped Brussels sprouts? no way Drizzle of Maple Syrup! It’s sweet and smoky Totally irresistible.

Why my version is the best!
- Maple Syrup Magic! Many recipes stop at bacon, but a drizzle of real maple syrup takes these to the next level and adds a caramelized finish.
- Crunchy every time! I share tricks, thinner bacon, seam down, and air fryer options so you don’t end up with mushy sprouts or floppy bacon.
- We make it kindly! Prepare them a day or two ahead, hide them in the refrigerator, and bake (or air-fry) them when ready. Perfect for parties or holidays.

Bacon Wrapped Brussels Sprouts Ingredients

- Brussels Sprouts:
- Top picks: Go for bright green sprouts with tough leaves. Smaller ones are sweeter and cook better.
- Preparing for the Right: Trim the stems, scrape off the leaves, and rinse.
- size: Cut large sprouts in half, leaving small sprouts whole.
- frozen: Frozen works well. Just thaw and dry it so it doesn’t get steamy instead of crispy.
- Maple Syrup: Real maple syrup tastes best, but imitations work in a pinch.
Bacon Wrapped Brussels Sprouts Recipe
These are our appetizers when we have gatherings. They are easy and delicious. I feel like I’m making a good life choice to eat Brussels sprouts, even if they’re covered in bacon and maple syrup.
- Cut & Season Sprouts: Preheat oven to 400°F, then line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and set aside. Trim the stem ends of the Brussels sprouts and place them in a medium bowl. Toss with olive oil, salt and pepper to taste.
- Wraps with Bacon: Wrap each Brussels sprout with half a slice of bacon, securing with toothpicks if necessary. Place them on a baking sheet so they are not touching each other.
- Create the source: Whisk maple syrup and brown sugar in a small bowl.
- Brush and Bread: Using a pastry brush, brush the sauce over the tops of the Brussels sprouts. Bake for 30 minutes, turning halfway through, until bacon is crisp and Brussels sprouts are tender. Remove immediately and place on a serving plate. Serve warm with ranch or garlic Aioli.
