The Trent Rocket started the campaign at the White Men’s Competition on Friday night with Birmingham Phoenix.
Phoenix finished inning at 122-6, but never seen enough, and David Willie’s rocket ranked sixth with strong bowling efforts led by Loki Ferguson (3-20) and chasing Tom Banton (29).

Lockie Ferguson, Meerkat Match Hero, said: “It was a good night and started with Dave, and the boys rode the bow and gave the batter a reasonable total.
“The short boundaries on the leg were definitely threatening, but the boys saw a change and hit the York well. We got an initial ticket gate.
The rocket attack, which first requested the bowl, removed the top three of Phoenix’s Ben Duckett and removed Wilshead and Anneurin Donald, who would leave the home side with 24-3 after 25 ball power play.

How does the economy work?
- The 100 balls win in terms, the most run teams win. So simple.
- Five bowling players can carry up to 20 balls in innings, including 5 or 10 consecutive wins.
- The traditional 6 ballovers found in different types of crickets are not used in the bag, and 10 balls are bowed before the end changes.
- Power play is for the first 25 balls in the inning, and only two faders are allowed only 30 yards.
- The 25 ball game is the minimum length that you can play when the weather is good.
- If the game is tied up in the rust -out stage, the super 5 will be played and the winner is the team’s most frequently played in five balls.
