Social Network Bluesky, an alternative to X based on open source technology, won a big victory in terms of attracting famous users to the platform. On Sunday, the company confirmed that former President Barack Obama joined the service.
BlueSky OOO ROSE WANG is an account that someone posted in Obama, “It has been confirmed!
In his first few posts on the platform, Obama celebrates the 15th anniversary of the ACA (Affordable Care Act) and calls it “reminds us that we can change when we fight for progress.”
The former president has 13.6 million followers and 55 million followers in other social media platforms, including X and Facebook.
However, X of ELON Musk, a previously known platform, has lost many users in alternative social networks, including Bluesky, since the 2024 US election. Musk used X to campaign for President Trump and encouraged the political views sorted. He also occupies a prominent position in Trump’s circle thanks to his relationship with Doge (government efficiency), which is currently trying to reduce federal workers, reduce spending, and dismantle government agencies.
Surprisingly, many left -wing American users no longer want to participate in X. The exodus of the platform increased significantly in Bluesky’s user growth in late 2024. Today, the new social network has more than 33 million users and continues to grow.
Other American politicians are already active in Bluesky, including well-known names such as Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Al Green, Gavin Newsom and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Many other representatives, senators and governors also joined the network.
