Barbie Zenks: Former Chicago White Sox pitcher is 44 years old

Former Chicago White Sox pitcher Bobby Jenks died at the age of 44 with a rare form of gastric cancer.

JENKS was the two All -Star pitcher of Chicago White Sox and was a member of the team who waited for the 2005 World Series title.

He threw the last pitch of the game in four games in the series when the White Sox beat Houston Astros.

“We have lost a symbolic member of the White Sox family,” Jerry Reinsdorf, chairman of White Sox, said.

“Any of us will not forget everything for Bobby’s 2005 World Series Champion and Chicago for his time for the entire SOX organization.”
