Last week, myself and a group of content creators had the pleasure of experiencing three of our own ski properties. Beaumier Hotels. After being refurbished and renovated the previous year, the property is now ready to welcome guests again. After landing at Geneva Airport, we drove across the border into France and headed to our first accommodation. Hotel Ralphaga In Megeve. Located near Mont Blanc, the hotel features 8 chalets and several other private rooms, as well as spa facilities and beautiful views.

I stayed in one of the classic rooms, which sleeps two adults and had a great view of the mountains. Each room has a private balcony, perfect for enjoying breakfast al fresco with a view away from other guests. There is plenty of storage space in the 2-person wardrobe, which is also useful during ski holidays. There is also a generous minibar and excellent food menu to enjoy in your room or in the restaurant.

We only stayed one night at Hotel L'Alpaga before heading to Val Thorens, but we had an evening filled with great entertainment from live singers, amazing cocktails, and dinner at restaurant Le Bistro de L'Alpaga. Breakfast the next morning was making one of the best soft-boiled eggs with the soldiers at La Table de L'Alpaga. Of course, there are ski slopes nearby, but this hotel is ideal for a quick stopover before moving on to other locations for a full-blown ski holiday.

Le Fitz Roy
For the second and final part of the trip we moved to Val Thorens for some skiing. Our group was split into two, with one group remaining. Le Fitz Roy And the other one is right next door Le Val Thorens. I can only speak about my experience at Le Fitz Roy as I did not stay at the latter. We had dinner and drinks at both places and both are equally amazing Beaumier hotels.

Compared to L'Alpaga, which is more secluded and away from the hustle and bustle, Le Fitz Roy is one of many hotels that face the ski slopes of Val Thorens and have restaurants and shops below. My room's balcony was two floors above the hotel's outdoor restaurant, but the double glazing helped block out the noise. Additionally, the bedroom and living areas are separated, giving you more privacy in the bedroom even if other people are using other parts of the hotel room. Again, there was a beautiful green marble shower, ample closet storage and a well-stocked minibar.
