Jeffrey P. Havens, who once held significant responsibility for food safety in Montana, submitted a recent report on Montana botulism cases to the Montana Supreme Court.
Havens filed the report on May 18 after obtaining it through a public records request from the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS). We note that the Cascade County case has been “confirmed to be a case of foodborne botulism from an unknown food vector.”
