After 14 years of Blender’s Pride fashion tours, we think this edition will be the most extravagant and extravagant to date. And not just because you’re taking pictures of your brand’s progress. *wink. I will be taking you through all four cities of the BPFT 2018 edition. This post is about Tarun Tahiliani’s first stop, Gurgaon, which showcases a mix of modern, contemporary (prints and bold colors) and traditional (the well-known TT details, embroidery and curtains).
This edition of BPFT focuses on “Pride” and designers present their interpretations. The overall brand positioning is ‘My Style, My Pride’, but each designer works with their own focus. For example, Tarun’s focus was “My Blend, My Pride” and thus a mix of modern and traditional, etc.
In Gurgaon, the fashion tour stopped at The Quorum Club, where guests were able to view the fashion presentations from a different perspective. Seated in the club’s various areas, the main event stage area, the first bar, art gallery, music stage and lounge, and the second bar and restaurant, almost every guest had a front row seat to admire the beautiful models waltzing in their outfits.
There were so many beautiful models that I couldn’t even remember them all, let alone their names! It was especially nice to see Mehr Jessia looking stunning in her silver and black dress. and Noyonika Chatterjee. Disha Patani, who was the show stopper, positively glowed – she is so young! Kubraa Sait brought her special sparkling energy to the room. Archana Vijaya was lovely as always. And there were the usual beauties – Laxmi, Donna, Arshia, Sonalika – and a whole lot more, including a few good-looking guys. Don’t forget the guests who could easily walk alongside the models.
Next stop on the Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour: Hyderabad. Designer Gaurav Gupta will be showcasing his interpretation of pride and style on December 14th.
