BMW Ladies Championship: Hannah Green wins 6th LPGA Tour title with short-shot win | golf news

Hannah Green shot a 1-under 71 to beat Celine Boutier to win the BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea.

Australian Green finished this tournament at 19 under par and tied for the lead in all four rounds held at Seowon Hills, earning her 6th win on the LPGA Tour and 3rd win this season.

France’s Boutier shot a 66 on Sunday, one stroke behind Green. Shaneti Wanasen of Thailand shot 68, two strokes behind the winner.

Korea’s Choi Hye-jin (67) and Seong Yu-jin (72) are tied for 4th place and are 3 strokes behind.

Eight of the top 10 LPGA players competed in this tournament. The main absence was No. 1 Nelly Korda, who withdrew before the competition due to a neck injury.

The tournament included 17 of the 18 event winners this season.
