Boxer Tommy Fury announces split from social media influencer Molly-Mae Hague | Boxing News

Boxer Tommy Fury has announced his split from social media influencer Molly Mae Hague, just over a year after being engaged.

The couple met on the 2019 series of ITV2 reality show Love Island and had their only child, a daughter named Bambi, in January last year.

Less than an hour after Hague announced their split, Fury posted a separate Instagram post saying he was “heartbroken” by the end of their relationship.

The split comes just three weeks after Haig called Fury “the love of my life.” Fury shared a video on Instagram to mark the one-year anniversary of Haig proposing to him.

“Oh my gosh, I never thought I'd have to write something like this,” Hague wrote when announcing the breakup.

“After five years together, I never imagined that our story would end this way.

“I am very sad to announce that Tommy and I have ended our relationship.

“I am and will always be forever grateful for what matters most: my beautiful daughter.

“If there were no us, there would be no her. She is always my top priority.

“Thank you for all the love you have shown us over the past five years. You have all been a part of our journey and it feels right to share this story with you.

“As I try to navigate the coming days and weeks, please respect my privacy during this difficult time. I'll be back when I feel like it. Molly-Mae x.”

“Over the past five years we have been blessed with a beautiful daughter, Bambi, and I will forever be grateful to Molly for making me a dad.

“Bambi is our top priority.

“Please respect our privacy and that of our family as we navigate this difficult time.”

Tommy Fury says he would '100 percent' join WWE to fight Logan Paul if contacted, and admits he has enjoyed watching wrestling since he was a child.

Fury, who has had successful fights against YouTubers KSI and Jake Paul, has previously admitted that Hague “hates” boxing.

He told BBC Breakfast last year that the 25-year-old influencer tolerates boxing because “she knows how happy it makes me”.

He said he had been struggling with a hand injury for four years and had surgery in January.
