Breeze Airways has launched non-stop service to Nassau, Bahamas. Launching June 11, 2026, the service will operate twice weekly from Tampa. This is Breeze’s first international airport service from Tampa International Airport to Lynden Pindling International Airport.
The new route is great news for travelers looking for additional network access to visit the Bahamas from Florida. It will also provide a convenient and affordable option for visiting the Bahamas during the summer travel season.
The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investment and Aviation (BMOTIA) welcomed the announcement, which “strengthens our partnership with key US markets.” Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investment and Aviation, Hon. I. Chester Cooper sees the new service as an opportunity to promote the island’s core tourism growth strategy and create “additional opportunities for visitation, investment and economic activity”.
David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways, praised the new service. “This current route to the Bahamas will be a great addition to Tampa’s network and will make it a highly desirable destination for summer travel.”
