
NEW Formula 1 Entrant Cadillac has signed as drivers of Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas and debut campaign in 2026.
The experienced duo will return one year from the grid. PEREZ was aimed by Red Bull at the end of the 2024 campaign, which was disappointing a few months after the contract was extended with Milton Keynes Squad.
Bottas, who drove with Luis Hamilton of Mercedes from 2017 to 2021, worked as Silver Arrows Reserve Driver in the 2025 season after SAUBER chose to renew the expiration contract at the end of 2024.
In both cases, it was unclear at the end of the F1 career, but the clear desire for Cadillac’s cockpit experience provided opportunities in Motorsport’s elite category.
The team principal Graeme Lowdon has signed a twice the “bold signal of intentions.”
“I have seen everything and knows what it is necessary to succeed in Formula 1, but more importantly, I understand what it means to help the team.
“The speed of their leadership, feedback, racetrack instinct and, of course, when we are vivid of this team, will be very important.”
Many people, who have entered the F1 as the 11th team of sports with American automaker General Motors, have signed at least one American driver, but the new costume has a total of 527 starts, 106 podiums and 16 wins and drivers.
The 35 -year -old Perez will compete in the 15th season in F1. The 6th Grand Prix winner led the Sauber, Mclaren, Force India, and Racing Points, and Red Bull claimed to finish the second -largest driver championship of teammates MAX VERSTAPPEN in 2023, winning the Structor ‘S Title.
Bottas, 36 years old on Thursday, began his career with Williams in 2013 before pairing with Hamilton in 2013.
FINN took second place in Hamilton with 10 Grand Prix victory and 20 play positions in the driver championship in 2019 and 2020. He spent three seasons with Sauber after being replaced by Mercedes’ George Russell.
