A new study finds that the cost of food safety paid by California’s large leafy vegetable growers has increased over the past two decades.
A study by University of California researchers found that for growers who are members of the Leafy Greens Marketing Agreement (LGMA), costs per acre increased from an average of $24.04 per acre to $54.63 per acre.
