Amanda Anisimova followed up her shock win over Aryna Sabalenka with a knockout of Emma Navarro in Toronto on Sunday to reach her first WTA 1000 final.

Anisimova, ranked 132nd, defeated eighth seed Navarro 6-3 2-6 6-2 to advance to the National Bank Open final.

The 22-year-old former French Open semi-finalist and 2022 Wimbledon quarter-finalist has now defeated four top-20 players in a row after wins over Sabalenka, Anna Kalinskaya and Daria Kasatkina.

Sebastian Korda reached the Canadian Open semifinals by beating Alexander Zverev in three sets.
