Williams have signed Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz for the 2025 Formula 1 season and beyond.
Sainz has been eyeing the 2025 seat since Ferrari announced in February that he would be replaced by Lewis Hamilton next year.
The Spaniard has been seen as a possible replacement for Hamilton at Mercedes and has also been linked with Red Bull, but will likely have to choose between Alpine, Williams or the Sauber team that will become Audi in 2026.
After months of negotiations, Sainz has agreed to join Williams early next year, where he will become Alex Albon's team-mate.
