Certification Platform Certiverse NABS $ 11M Series A -led Cherryrock

Certification Platform Certiverse raised $ 11 million in series A led by Cherryrock Capital and announced this week.

The company was founded in 2023 by Ruben Garcia, Pablo Meyer and Federico Lopez, and founders can develop authentication tests, the founders are much cheaper than traditional methods.

Certification is an old way to get technical skills to increase your job prospects and get mastery of specific topics.

The company said it is working with a variety of companies, from Linux Foundation, a technology non -profit organization, to the software company Hashicorp.

Garcia CEO is not new to the certification industry. He co -founded (and sold) an innovative test, a test service company that previously provided test services.

Certification may be a “change of life for leaders and professionals,” but he added that the company’s cost to develop certification programs and exams can reach $ 150,000.

“Our customer has developed up to $ 10 for a year for less than $ 10,000 per test for a year,” he said.

He usually added that it took about a year to make a test using a legacy provider (e.g. Pearson, Vue, and Prometric).

Garcia said, “Our business model coincides with the customer’s interests, starts the test and generates most of the profits when a professional is taking.

He used the word “concentrated” to explain the fundraising efforts. Certiverse started a fundraising activity in early January and pitched to about 50 companies for 45 days.

Garcia said, “I focused on the results.” Believe in the vision and find the right investor who can help to expand here. ”

He met with Cherryrock team through one of the existing investors. I have participated in the CHINGONA Ventures, Hyde Park Venture Partners and Zeal Capital Partners. Certiverse has raised more than $ 16 million, the company said.

Garcia said that fresh capigal will be used to add more automation to the platform, so anyone can make the test easier.

“Our goal is to focus on scale and build a platform to launch partners with 1,000 new customers in Certiverse.”
