Chantelle Cameron became a two-weight world champion when she defeated Mikaela Kotaskova by unanimous decision to secure the vacant WBO super welterweight title.
Immediately after winning the Caroline Dubois vs. Terri Harper undercard fight at the London Olympia, Cameron called for a fight with Mikaela Mayer and faced the American star and fellow two-weight world champion in the ring.
Cameron said, “I have a lot of respect for Mikaela Meyer. She’s a great fighter. I’ve wanted a fight with Mikaela for a long time.” sky sports.
“We’ve been saying we need to give the fans a great fight for women’s boxing.”
Cameron, a former world champion at 140 pounds and the only professional conqueror of Katie Taylor, stepped up to the super welter for the first time and met Kotaskova in their first ever women’s world title in a three-minute round fight on British soil.

She showed off her power at that distance, winning twice by unanimous decision, 100-90 and 99-91, after 10 three-minute rounds. Cameron was in no hurry, but put strong and sustained pressure on his Czech opponent. Early on she found a home just above the summit.
But it was the work aimed at her body that depleted Kotaskova and forced the Czech to retreat.
Cameron warmed to the action, unleashing uppercuts and slamming hooks to Kotaskova’s stomach, then bombarding more rights to the head.
They both suffered marks and bruises, and Cameron had a scratch on his nose. But Cameron was the one dishing out hurtful punches and the Briton staggered Kotaskova as the bout entered the second half.
Kotaskova tagged Cameron at times, but she became increasingly desperate and threw fat punches to win the former champion over.

Cameron rocked Kotaskova once again in the eighth round with a left hook. But she couldn’t take down her taller opponent.
In the next session, the Czech strode to the center of the ring and traded blows with Cameron. She took courage from that and went back for the final round. Cameron covered up and unleashed a great left hook before confirming his decision win.

After winning the first British and Commonwealth women’s super flyweight title, Dolan is challenging for world honors for the first time in her ninth professional fight.
Far more experienced as a professional fighter, Mexico’s Garcia is not only a two-time world champion but also a police officer (and qualified lawyer), as well as being 17 years Dolan’s senior.
After the first round of action, it looked like Dolan was on world level. She kept busy, moving forward behind long, straight punches. Garcia even flinched after being hit with a left hook to the head.
But Garcia changed everything in the second round. A left-handed hook stunned Dolan and she knocked Britton down.
Dolan floored Garcia three times during the loss.
A straight back hand to the middle knocked Dolan down for the second time. Bravely Dolan made it through the rounds, but Garcia ended up on his back to the canvas in the third.
Then the Mexican bowled right over. Dolan caught her in the forehead shaking her. Dolan’s corner pulled her out at that point, calling for a professional.

Courtenay opted for a single shot, nailing Booker flush with a backhand as well as clipping her taller opponent with a left hook. She took power by dropping Booker in the second round. Courtenay kept the Nottingham fighters under pressure in the third. Their heads collided and Courtenay sent Booker down with a left hook to the body.
Booker drops to his knees and grabs his head with three seconds left in the round.
Shannon Courtenay did light work for Sasha Booker.
Courtenay is currently eyeing a rematch with Ebanie Bridhes, whom she beat to win the WBA belt in 2021.
“I won the world title, the world was at my feet, but I lost it and everything fell apart. I had only myself to blame,” Courtenay said. “I want a fight with Bridges.”
Finnish prospect Theresa Makkinen She maintained her undefeated record after going through eight intense rounds against Chloe Watson.

The former European champion from Birkenhead landed a sharp shot and caught Makinen with a right hook as he emerged from the clinch. However, Makinen won 77-75.
Elizabeth OshobaNigeria’s 2022 Commonwealth Games medalist, who now lives in Bristol, suffered a third-round stoppage loss to Chelsey Arnell.
Oshoba lined up a backhand shot that rocked Arnell and prompted the referee to intervene and stop the third match after 42 seconds.
