According to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, the recall was triggered by the company.

There have been no reports of illness associated with consumption of this product.

Recalled cheeses can be identified by the following information: 200 gram plastic package with UPC number 8 004603 104099 and code L 2524600. Expiration date: 2026/04/28.
