After making this amazing Cherry Lime Smoothie a few years ago, our team fell in love with ALL THINGS CHERRIES. We decided to create a summer-friendly version of the cocktail in a delicious and nostalgic Cherry Limeade flavor.
input: cherry lime cocktail your dream. This Spiked Cherry Limeade is sweet and tart with a fun, bubbly finish that will have you and your guests jumping for joy. This vodka punch-style cocktail is made with fresh ingredients (no mysterious jungle juices here) and doesn’t require mixing or straining anything. Just mix and serve.
Of course, you can leave out the vodka for the perfect mocktail! Whichever way you make it, don’t forget to add a nice sugar rim and some fresh cherries and lime slices for the best flavor. Cheers!

Ingredients for this Cherry Lime Cocktail
This gorgeous spiked cherry limeade has the perfect balance of sweet and tart and uses super simple ingredients. Here’s what you need:
- Tart Cherry Juice: To give your cocktail a true cherry flavor, you need to use good quality cherry juice, not concentrate.
- sweetener: To sweeten your cocktail, feel free to use agave or simple syrup. Learn how to make simple syrup below!
- lime: You’ll need both fresh lime juice and limeade for that tart punch. I used this brand in this recipe because it doesn’t taste overly artificial.
- vodka: We’re adding some party favor and pairing this Cherry Limeade with vodka!
- soda: Who doesn’t love a frothy cocktail? Two cans of soda (aka seltzer or club soda) will do the trick.
- To serve: I like to rim the glasses with granulated sugar and add fresh lime slices and cherries. It’s so pretty.

Make your own simple syrup
A quick shortcut to making simple syrup: shake equal parts granulated sugar and water (1/4 cup each is enough for all six Cherry Lime cocktails) in a small bottle and shake for 1 to 2 minutes until the sugar dissolves. That’s it!

Can you make a mocktail?
entirely! Feel free to leave out the vodka for a fun homemade cherry limeade mocktail.

Turn up the jazz in every glass
To make this cherry lime cocktail, I like to add a rim of sugar to the glass instead of salt (like in my margarita recipe)! To do so:
- Cut the lime into wedges and rub the cut side of the lime along the edge of the glass.
- Pour regular or granulated sugar into a small dish.
- Dip the wet glass rim into the sugar to coat it. Then make some vodka cherry limeade and pour it into a glass filled with ice.
I also like to garnish with fresh lime slices and cherries for a pretty look.

Delicious Cherry Lime Cocktail in 4 Easy Steps
- Build a foundation. First, combine the cherry juice, agave, lime juice, and vodka in a large jug and stir until the agave has dissolved.
- Add filler. Gently stir together the ice, limeade, and 1 can soda water with a long cocktail spoon.
- Get your glasses ready. If desired, add a sugar rim to the glass along with ice.
- Garnish and serve. Pour the cocktail into each glass, leaving some space at the top, then sprinkle more soda water into each glass. Garnish with fresh lime slices and cherries, if desired!
