Children out of 16 as a Russian attack on Zelen Ski’s hometown

Russian missile attacks against Ukraine Central Cryvyi RIH have been killed at least 16 people and dozens of injuries, Ukrainian officials said.

President VolodyMyr Zelensky, who grew up in Kryvyi Rih, said six people were dead. Local officials said that ballistic missiles were hit by residential areas.

The image showed that at least one victim was lying on the playground, and the video showed that the big part of the 10 -story apartment block was destroyed and the victim was lying on the road.

The Russian Defense Ministry later aimed to meet the “troop commander and western instructor” at the restaurant, and insisted that up to 85 people died. It did not provide evidence.

Earlier on Friday evening, the attack was the most fatal in Crybi since the beginning of Russia’s invasion in 2022, and US President Donald Trump has been pushing for a ceasefire.

Zelensky wrote about social media that at least five buildings were damaged in Friday strike. “There is only one reason for this. Russia does not want a ceasefire and we see it.”

Oleksandr Vilkul, the defense manager of Kryvyi Rih, said that the residential area was right.

“The missile exploded in the air to injure more people,” he said. “Children died at the playground or nearby.”

Serhii Lysak, head of the DNipropetrovsk region where Kryvyi Rih is located, said more than 40 people were healed and the youngest was only three months.

Later on Friday, Vilkul reported more explosions, saying that the city was under “mass” drone attack.

It is not immediately known whether there is a casualty in the attack.

The military patriarchs of the United Kingdom and France met Zelensky at Kiev earlier that day and discussed plans to be stationed by foreign peacekeepers in Ukraine as part of potential ceasefire transactions.

But there were few signs of violence.

Kryvyi RIH was also attacked when the building of the center was hit earlier this week and four people died.

On Thursday, the Russian drone strike insisted another five lives in the northeastern city of Kharkiv, local officials said.

France and the United Kingdom have accused Russia that they are taking steps in the Ukrainian peace agreement. David Lammy, British Foreign Minister, told reporters at the NATO summit in Brussels, “Russian leaders can accept the armistice now, but he continues to bomb the civilian population Ukraine.”

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Russians knew the US position. “We will soon find out about whether they are serious about doing true peace or whether they are delayed,” he said.

Kryvyi RIH is about 40 km (70 km) at the forefront of the eastern Ukraine, and the 600,000 population is famous as the longest city in Europe.
