How to Make a Chicken Pillow

This chicken pillow recipe is my go-to when I don’t have dinner planned. I always have crescent rolls on hand because this is my daughters favorite recipe. And there’s almost always some cooked chicken in the fridge or freezer.

  1. Preparation and Chicken Filling: Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray 2 sheet pans with nonstick cooking spray and set aside. In a medium bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, green onions, and garlic powder.
  2. Combine and open: Stir chicken mixture until well combined. Next, open the crescent roll and separate the triangles.
  3. Pillow Filling: Place about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture on the wide end of the crescent roll.
  4. Seal Pillow: Fold the sides of the dough over the chicken mixture, then roll into a crescent shape. Pinch dough around chicken mixture to seal completely. Repeat this method until complete.
  5. Coat Pillow: Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl for about 40 seconds. Pour Italian bread crumbs onto a plate for easy dipping! Dip the top of each chicken pillow in a bowl of melted butter, then dip in the Italian breadcrumbs.
